Salvation?
Resurrection?
Restoration?
Just Words?
Or Is It…
“A NEW THING?”
“See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland.”
Isaiah 43:19
About Pastor/Evangelist Joe Wilkins…
After spending time in a notorious Texas prison in 1976, I met the Savior of my Soul. His name is Jesus Christ.
After the death of my mother when I was fifteen years old, and the murder of my father when I was 18, my drug- addicted life spun out of control.
Facing a 25- to- life sentence for two different attempted murders, I was sentenced to this prison, appropriately named the “Gladiator Farm.”
The inmates there were ages 18-22. Fighting, killing, and all the insanity that prison life brings. After months of grueling work in the cotton fields, I was physically and mentally broken.
With no answers in sight, I became suicidal and was about to end my life, when I heard, in my broken heart, from the Holy Spirit…
“Joe,
I love you,
just the way you are.”
I made my way to the Prodigal Son Chapel inside this prison, on Mother’s Day Morning in 1977. Jesus revealed His love to me, and saved my wretched, sinful life.
Instead of having to do the prescribed sentence facing me, I only had to do 12 months for 6 aggravated felony convictions. This is the grace of God for my life.
He put His Hand on me to preach the Gospel, primarily to prisoners. After traveling all over the world, and preaching in prisons in America, I am fulfilling what He asked me to do. From a 21-year-old violent inmate in 1977, to the current day, I have remained faithful to this mandate. Now, years later, I am free indeed, by the Power of His Holy Word.
I have been free since the day of my Salvation in Christ, and want all to hear, “Jesus Saves.”
“I will restore to you the years…”
Joel 2:25

Sheryle Cruse
The Most High has seen me through abuse, eating disorders, cancer, and caregiving.
And, despite my stubbornness, He still insists on moving “from Glory to Glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18).
He has mercifully allowed me to write about these chaotic and difficult life experiences, including my books, “Thin Enough: My Spiritual Journey Through the Living Death of an Eating Disorder” and “Cancerventures: Tales of a Diagnosed Woman.”
Now, as Director of Ministry Operations, I am seeing Him work on greater levels, “from Glory to Glory.”
He has done incredible things for me; He can do the incredible for you.
Watch and SEE what He does!
